Students with skills in computer science are in high demand to design and develop business information systems. Students in this program acquire skills in programming, systems analysis and design based on the curriculum developed under the Sun/Java Academic Initiative. This program concentrates instruction with the Java programming language while also introducing the student to C++ and Visual BASIC programming concepts. The knowledge gained in this program provides students with the skill sets for employability in a variety of businesses and industries in positions such as programmers, developers, and systems analysts.
